The Wells These enormous stone encased wells can be found throughout the Spartan city, dug about a hundred feet into the ground. Not far from the central well are the public baths for laundry.
Public Baths The city's water supply is spread to each corner of Sparta, including these small ponds which serve as baths. Although private baths do exist, these are public for laundry and chores.
