Astinos
Friendships
[Alibi] [Best Friends] [Good Friends] [Aquaintance] [Business]
Enemies
[Hate] [Fear] [Revenge] [Rival] [Dislike] [Annoyance]
Relationships
[Current] [Lust//Fling] [Crush] [Love-Hate] [Obsession]
Character's Name: Iolanthe Relationship: [Crush], [Aquaintance] How? I've only met him twice, and thought about him constantly. The second time, when I'd assumed he wanted nothing to do with me - I saw him fight off wolves to save my life. No one's ever saved my life before. He's handsome and brave and I've never met a man who appealed to me this much. I find myself wishing I was Spartan, because it would be much easier that way. I fear for my reputation, and his, and how scornful people would be if I admitted my attraction.

We can thread, it just needs to be in like one of the public courts.
I have got a sub plot idea based on whats gone down between Pausanias, Iolanthe and Astinos in the thread. Being young Astinos would probably have been passed over for the 300, maybe his superiors looking to the future and the idea that he might one day replace and avenge his father and the King. Given that Pausanias is clever and that Astinos has an interest in his new Persian toy(can anyone say love triangle?), maybe he seeks to eliminate the competition by suggesting to the Captain that his brave and capable son be one of the 300.
Thoughts?

yes, get rid of any competition. In fact, the ol' P man may suggest it himself to your father.

Character: Pasiphae Relationship: [Aquaintance]//More like a family friend. How?: (Hi, I sort of invaded your thread with Io! Sorry.) Pasiphae's husband was good friends with Astinos' father, and was commanded under him, so Pasiphae is familiar with Astinos-though she's only recently seen the boy again since the agoge isolates them from Spartan society. He has grown up quite a lot and she is fond of him, though she isn't sure of his judgment, as far as certain Persians are concerned.
