She is willing to do what it takes to stay in his good graces while satisfying her lust for blood. She is a well oiled machine at his disposal.

Ra has rather mixed feelings over Xerxes.

He took him from slavery, and gave him a life of luxury and ease, but he left Ra's heritage in ruins.

Part of the young Egyptian wants to submit entirely to the god kings will, but the other half violently resents the Persian upstart.
