History:
Dhrice was born in Athens. Her father, Kargan Arakhus, was an Athenian poet married to her Athenian mother, Oediphia Motae, who was a former priestess in her early life. Dhrice grew up into a beautiful young girl. Her beauty was known over the land. Her wisdom was given by Athena, her beauty was given by Aphrodite, her fighting skill was skilled by Artemis, and her skill in predicting the future was given by Apollo.
At the age of 12, Dhrice was betrothed to a Spartan knight who was much older than herself. But Dhrice was not interested to get married in such young age, so they split up. Kargan, however, really wanted his daughter to be a poet just like him. He taught her how to write poetries but Dhrice was not interested. She was free minded and didn’t want to be a poet. This made Kargan – who agreed for the betrothal – was very disappointed. He later went off Athens to find a new life as a wanderer – left the young Dhrice along with Oediphia.
Oediphia then taught Dhrice the knowledge about gods and goddesses. She convinced the 15 year-old Dhrice that “Humans’ hands are gods’ and belongs to them”. This made Dhrice was interested to learn more and later, she became one of the youngest priestesses in Athens. Not to mention, her beauty was adored. Soon after when she was 17, her mother died in a strange sickness – left Dhrice to be an orphan. As a grown-up girl, Dhrice had decisions to choose her lifeline and there she chose to be a priestess, in reason that she didn’t want to disappoint her mother the way she disappointed her father. She filled her times with attending or leading some religious ceremonies, practicing archers, or just wandered around the land. She decided not to get married because she had no interests in getting married for her whole life.
